BOV Kompact Shortie Dual Port VW Golf MK7 GTI/R - TS-0203-1063

Turbosmart's new Kompact Shortie Blow-Off Valve for VAG 2.0 TSI engines takes performance to a new level. These valves are a high performance replacement for the stock blow-off valve for the current 2.0 TSI line.

Unlike the plastic construction of the standard valve, they are machined from aircraft aluminum and bolt directly to the stock location. They offer all the technology of Turbosmart's race-ready BOV lineup in an OEM replacement package.

The Dual Port offers a 50/50 split between recirculation and vent-to-atmosphere, for quiet operation at low boost pressure and the high performance sound associated with vent-to-atmosphere BOVs at higher boost pressure. The dual port also returns enough air to satisfy the vehicle's ECU.

With the standard valve, boost pressure can escape, and if you want more power, it can't keep up. The plastic construction becomes brittle and can eventually break, resulting in significant boost pressure loss. The Kompact Shortie from Turbosmart, does not bleed boost pressure and can handle the increased boost pressure on tuned vehicles. It also completely eliminates supercharger surge, allowing the turbo to operate at its full potential.
